Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Elano Blumer has made a 'come and get me' plea to Atletico Madrid.

The Brazil international is being considered by Atletico for the winter market after sports director Juan Garcia Pitarch watched him several times during the first-half of the season.

"It would be a dream to play for Atletico Madrid," said Elano. "I've adapted to life in Ukraine, but I'm now ready to make a move to a bigger competition. There are offers on the table and everything must be considered."

Shakhtar are seeking £6 million for the versatile Elano.

Croatian midfielder Dario Srna, who is currently still at the Ukranian giant Shakhtar Donetsk, will probably switch to PSG for a fee of around 4 milion euros, as Croatian and French media report.

The 24-year old right winger has a contract with Shakhtar, which expires in 2008, but it's very possible that he will leave Ukraine already this month, as several Croatian and international media report. Shakhtar will have to sell him now, if they want to earn some money with the player. PSG, who are currently 16th in Ligue 1 need new high profile players, if they want to achieve better results at the prestigious Parc des Princes. It is believed that PSG is the most possible move for Srna, despite the interest from Liverpool and Benfica, which were interested in the Croatian's services some time ago. Before leaving to Ukraine, Srna played four seasons at the Poljud in the ranks of Hajduk Split. He was capped 40 times for the Croatian national team, scoring 10 goals.

From the yesterday there are a lot of comments about the national "derby" between Kyiv and Donetsk. For the most part it's just emotions: "Luchesku is an unequable!" or "Luchesku is a hero!", "Kleber - balerina!!! :(" or "Kleber had a hard game and was lucky to suffer a lot of shakhtar's fouls", "Paulo Costa [the referee] - held a great match!" or "Costa - butcher!". I have nothing to add here ;), beacause the real debreifing will take the place after the passions settle down.

But I'd like to note some things. First of all, Dynamo's coach Anatoliy Demianenko has earned more than just points into the table, he's saved his place at the head of the team. Fans and directors tomorrow even were agree to forgive a part of failed euro-season for the winning over the main concurrent in the national championship. He did it, and probably he'll stay there for a next season.

As for the Shakhtar - it's a real tragedy for Donetsk fans. Two red cards for the players and one for the coach; Luchesku's intemperance inherited by the players; at last the loss to the main opponent... The worst anyone could suppose.

In brief, the wonderful football night was corrupted by a needless aggression.
And Kiev scored after the Shakhtar's defenders mistake. It was enough to win.

The football fan's culture in Donetsk this season is extremely growing up. A real ultras appeared on the stands. Yeah, those ultras with banners, fires, tom-tom drums and other inherent attributes. For the time being there's a few men gathering on the internal matches of ukrainian championship, less than one sector is filled usually (~500 ultras). But the real shows - Champions League matches - represent the support in all one's glory. They make the grandiose celebration on a par with football players. In the next post I will publish the videoreview of the last match Shakhtar - Valencia from the french Canal+. In the very beginning there you will see the great canvases with phrase 19 Ш А Х Т А Р 36 (1936 - the year of origin) and the traditional symbols - crossed hammers (means miner's tools, and if you don't know yet 'Shakhtar' - means 'miner'). Songs and scansion of thousands during the game drive the team very well :)
;) All football-related mankind in the city should thank the support team for the prepeared show and say "go on!", the progress is quite impressive, guys.
